Asus Rog Phone 6 - The New Generation of Gaming

The  Asus Rog Phone 6 series was released on July 5th 2022. Just like its ancestor, the Rog Phone 6 also comes in three variants:

• Asus Rog Phone 6
• Asus Rog Phone 6 Pro
• Asus Rog Phone 6 Ultimate

However, Asus may release the Rog Phone 6s shortly.

Design and Looks

Design-wise, the Rog Phone 6 series is not much different from the 5 series. However, there are a few changes to the device.

Firstly, it has a larger and more prominent camera that houses three cameras and an LED flash. Just like the ROG Phone 5, it features a back display but this time, with vertical positioning.

On the right side, there is a home button, volume rocker keys and AirTriggers on both right ends. The device has two USB-C ports, one at the bottom and one on the left side. 

Display

The ROG Phone 6 features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 165hz refresh rate. As always, it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Like the ROG Phone 5, its front cameras are also housed in the bezel on the top of the display.

Specs

The Rog Phone 6 features the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

The base variant features 16GB of RAM while the Ultimate variant will have 18GB of RAM and offers storage up to 512GB. The device has two 3000mAh batteries just like the Rog Phone 5 series and features 65W fast charging. The device runs an Android 12-based ROG UI.

Cameras

The ROG Phone 6 series features a triple camera setup with a 64MP main camera, an ultra-wide camera and a macro camera. The front has a 12MP selfie camera. The camera is the same across the entire lineup.
